ABF MISSIONS NEWS has a blog format (newest at the top). In addition to this webpage, ABF publishes a monthly ABF Missions Prayer Newsletter. Take one from the Missions display board at the rear of the Worship Center each month. Some of these news event details have changed, but it is good to rediscover our ABF Missionary history over the years.

June 25-30, 2023. ABF is again going down to Ensenada, Mexico, to build houses and help with VBS camps for local children. We have 25 spots for our ABF All-Church group. Information will be updated soon. See registration link below.

A group of ABF volunteers once again built another house in Mexico under the YUGO organization and helped with various other ministries. The ABF annual ministry included part of the High School group. Week of Sunday, June 13, 2021, to Friday, June 18, 2021. Nate and Abby Burris shared in the ABF Courtyard Worship Services on November 22, 2020. They also shared with the youth group during the week.

Kevin Green headed up a group of ABF volunteers to build another house in Mexico under the YUGO organization. Weekend of November 13-15, 2020. The group was capped at ten men. The ABF group left at 9:00AM on Friday, November 13, with lunch in San Diego. Saturday November 14 House-Build. Back home Sunday.  kevin.dwayne.green@gmail.com

Agoura Bible Fellowship - Planting in Ecuador - January 12, 2020

ABF is partnering with Compassion International to plant churches in Ecuador and Bolivia. The communities where these churches are planted have high levels of poverty, with an average household income of $160 per month. There is great spiritual need, please pray for these growing congregations as they shine the light of God's love and reach their communities.

The T Family, serving the Middle East

On Sunday, September 8, 2019, Pastor John Erwin interviewed and prayed for new ABF missionaries. They leave to return to their mission on Tuesday. They partner with refugee communities to provide education to over 300 children and professional development for 10 educators.

The annual ABF Missions week was held on Thursday evening, August 29, and Sunday, September 1, 2019. Exciting details of the ongoing missions ministries were presented, as well as a sermon, The First Harvest Crusade, by Associate Pastor John Erwin. The message was part of the Living Parables message series. 

On Sunday, August 25, 2019, Pastor Scott Kegel interviewed and prayed for Nate and Abby as they return to their mission this week.  

On Sunday, July 28, 2019, Pastor John Erwin interviewed Todd in both services and prayed for them. What an awesome ministry they have! Amazing.  

On Sunday, June 30, 2019, Pastor John Erwin prayed a prayer of dedication for the YUGO Mexico 2019 Team who will leave next weekend and Dr Paul and Teri Reisser who leave for Uganda in two weeks.  

On Sunday, April 28, 2019, Nate and Abby Burris attended ABF and were featured in both services for an interview and prayer during the services, and then lunch together in The Well for a report and Q&A.  

Sunday, April 7, 2019, after church in The Well. All were invited to meet our newest missionary family. Bill led worship on Thursday (4/4) and Sunday (4/7), was interviewed in all three services and then held the lunch Q&A in The Well.

Bill and Teresa have served for 27 years and have been to over 60 countries around the world. They have served as evangelists, missions mobilizers and disciple makers in the nations. Bill was the founder and director of art ministry and now serves as the Area Leader for 446 missionaries on 81 Fields engaged in integral mission/incarnational ministry - church planting using the cultural universals as the key to unlock the last-reached places in the world to bring personal and communal transformation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bill and Teresa's passion is to engage with Jesus followers all over the world to empower them in expressing their faith and worship through their God-given gifts, talents and expertise, build the Church and extend the Kingdom of God in the least-reached places of the world.

This annual event was held during the week of 7/7 to 7/12, 2019.  

The Mexico 2019 Mission Trip is a family-friendly trip for people of all ages. This year’s trip featured:

• Prison Ministry

The Liljegrens will fly in November 2018 to Saransk, Russia, to plan for the July 2019 Youth English Camp and to Kiev, Ukraine, to plan for the July 2019 youth team ministry to orphanage and war zone children at a summer camp in western Ukraine.

The Mexico Mission Trip was held during the week of July 8 - 13, 2018
  - Full reports were given at ABF services on Thursday 8/23 and Sunday 8/26. Also see ABF YUGO page (blue link at very top).
ABF had dozens of volunteers at the Mexico Mission Outreach from July 8 - 13 with YUGO Ministries building two homes in Ensenada, Mexico. The local outreach included a children’s program, prison ministry opportunities and a sports ministry.

Jim and Barbara Liljegren have announced plans for a 2-week planning trip to Saransk, Russia, for November 1-13, 2017. The Slavic Youth English Camp is in Italy in July 2018. Contact them at ABF or Encouragement International, Inc. in Northridge, California.

Every Year on a Missions Night
Tacheeni and Deb Scott visit ABF on one of the Tuesday AWANA Missions Nights each year. The children thoroughly enjoy the hot Navajo Fry Bread and presentations. The Scotts, former members of ABF, visit ABF AWANA each Winter or Spring.
